Ever since menopause I have very little tolerance for extreme heat and get nauseous when I try to do too much on hot days. Not fun. Most people don't get it (my husband LOVES hot weather) so it's on me to set limits and say "no" when I think it's going to be too much. Such is life.

Yes, limits indeed. It sucks being so sensitive but it’s who we are. 💓

I was at an outdoor wedding this past weekend and had the exact same concerns. Lots of sunscreen, bug spray, and staying hydrated. We had a great time with the added bonus of gluten free pizza!

I'm so glad you were able to enjoy yourself, Carol. 🍕Always something to think about/worry about when you're an HSP with health concerns.

The apartment where I'm living now doesn't have AC. Combine that with hot flashes, and the undersides of my boobs get sweaty. I hadn't known until now that that was a thing.

I remember a heat dome we had in the UK a couple of years ago. I could hardly bear it. I just sat in my little kitchen all day with ice packs and water. 💦
