I’ve barely started my blog but one of the ways I combat overwhelm and overthinking is through gratitude (my upcoming series of posts). I don’t think it gets easier; there are always new and stubborn challenges. Being thankful can seem like a trite solution, but God can use this within us in new and creative ways.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, Carol. Yes, gratitude is a wonderful way to stay present indeed though I try to avoid "toxic positivity" in myself or with others. That said, focusing on the "good" generally leads to a better outcome. 😊
